Fun fact you can actually outrun a blueshell for the whole race with good driving. What you need is a decent combo, know how to neutral drift (drifting without losing speed) play on 200cc, and try and get 10 coins

When in an online match, sometimes I’ll throw an item at an opponent just ahead of me and when the item “hits” them they are spinning out but at full speed and I’ll be unable to pass them up. Does anybody else experience the same? Because if this is a glitch, I need to know 😂

I just realised they slow down when they are close to you, which makes seeing them go so fast on the mini-map feel unnecessarily scary.

Bug in MK8. There is no way in MK8 to do that. well except for MK8DX.

The 3rd one was happened when I played MK8DX.

You can do this in Super Circuit (GBA) as well, eventually the blue or red shell will despawn if it doesn't hit you after a while.

In the first clip if you grabbed the mushroom on the floor then hit the boost panel you could've outrun it even more
